There is increasing demand for more durable and security-scalable banknote solutions, but without embedded security concepts this demand is met with compromises. We must stay ahead of the counterfeiter. Add to this the strains of increasingly complex cash cycles and demanding environmental and circulating conditions.

Issuers are faced with this conundrum, but there are ways to address durability in a sustainable way, which is consistent with the proven cotton-based security.
